How do I dispose of a used paper sanitary bin?
Seal it using the built-in closure, then place it directly into your normal commercial general/offensive waste bin. Sanitary waste is classified as offensive waste (EWC 18 01 04) in the UK and does not require a specialist hazardous-waste collection.
Can I recycle a used Hygiene+ bin?
No — used sanitary waste cannot enter the paper recycling stream. The bin goes into your offensive/general waste, which is the same route a sealed plastic serviced bin's contents would take. The environmental advantage is at manufacture and collection, not at end-of-life recycling.
